Determined to Dive

Hello all! We've received a few reports of issues with posting comments so far. On the positive side that means that people have actually checked in. As for negatives, well, I haven't been able to read any comments from Jim. Anyway, we're hoping that the comment issues have been cleared up now, but please let us know if you are still having trouble.

Joe is currently enrolled in Level 2 swimming through Park & Rec. We were all very proud when he passed Level 1 on his first try over the summer. So last week in class they had the kids dive to the bottom to try and retrieve toys. Joe had a few stuggles with that one. First issue was that he won't open his eyes under water, so he would line it up first, dive down and then feel around until he found it. We had picked up a pair of goggles for him, but he wasn't comfortable with them. So we decided we needed some practice time in the bathtub. Of course, after all that practice last night...today's class was cancelled because the pool was double booked. Go figure.
